On October 17, 2012, Mary Louise Cole unexpectedly suffered a subdural hematoma – collection of blood on the surface of the brain resulting in a stroke. This caused a series of events that kept her in the hospital for almost a month. Mary believes her journey to recovery began while receiving therapy in the stroke program at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital.
